In human genetics, the Mitochondrial Eve is the matrilineal most recent common ancestor of all living humans. She is the most recent woman from whom all living humans descend in an unbroken line purely through their mothers and through the mothers of those mothers, back until all lines converge in one woman. She is black-skinned and comes from eastern Ethiopia. It's time to Encounter the real Eve; the one our historical or religious teachings did not tell us about.
