Removing the Breastplate

The breastplate in times of old would shield the warrior from fatal blows to his heart and chest. In this era many men have constructed an energetic breastplate for exactly the same reasons but of an emotional kind.

What lies behind a man's breastplate is his first loves. These may be his first girlfriend, wife, daughter or mother. It is a fragment of his innocent self and a splinter of her. Everything and everyone else gets compared to her, and he is unable to move on. This work begins that skilful process of removing/lifting the breastplate.
