As Wise as Serpent, As Innocent As A Dove

Jesus tells His followers to exercise whatever wise shrewdness they can to avoid conflict and danger without losing the dove-like innocence that will allow them to continue to proclaim the truth without fear. It will be a hard balance to keep, but it will be necessary for the mission to be successful.

Some of us will have the "wise as serpents" part down but lack a dove's gentleness and harmlessness. Or we may be dovelike, but turn a blind eye to the fact that evil is real and end up ensnared.

This transmission is to dive heartfully with strength and conviction into the Greater Mystery of this Christ Teaching and to embody His instructions with conviction and grace.
