Preparing the Oil of Catechumens: Sacred Exorcism

Following a more Gnostic path, I will make an Oil of Catechumens to discourage and resist the influence of otherworldy forces that attempt to hinder, doubt, and confuse us. This oil and its making will be a Rite of (self) exorcism. Please treat this seriously. 

This year I am hosting an online workshop called Preparing the Oil of Catechumens: Sacred Exorcism. This Live and Recorded class will include somatic movement, prayer and layered learning. According to the visionary stigmatist Anna Catherine Emmerich, on Holy Thursday evening, the Yeshua not only instituted the holy Mass, but he also instructed the disciples in the administration of the other Sacraments, explaining to them the kinds of holy oils they should use and showing them how to consecrate them.So, in this much-needed time of escalating crisis and rebirth, I would like to use this day to prepare the Oil of Catechumens, the traditional oil of exorcism.

I wish to magnify the Feminine Christ's qualities in preparing this oil. Rather than it being an oil that dispels evil tendencies, I envision the creation of this oil taking place at such a high octave that to come into contact with it - would invite the All, Absolute, and Only to materialise. So, Only the Truth would exist - and we are still determining what that looks like. So prepare for a Mystical Day together, drenched in God's Love. We will not be measuring, selecting, choosing or sampling - we will be in deep internal silence and knowing as we 'craft' our oil, blindfolded (or eyes closed) as we allow the oils to merge. We will be the empty vessel for the spirit to move through us and create.

This is the work of the Myrrhophores - the Mistresses of the Sacred Oils. I intend to remind us how to create a sacred blend, the prayers and presences that go into making such a holy anointment. During this day, there will be ritual practices, movement, sacred practice, prayer and blending. If we can retrieve twelve oils - that would be wonderful. Otherwise, we work with what is available and trust that it is our perfect and timely set of oils. Ideal Oils would be Frankincense, Myrrh, Spikenard, Rose, Galbanum, Angelica, Blue Tansey, Blue Lotus, Lily, Cedarwood, .... please trust your knowing. This day will be Live and Recorded, and everyone will be sent a Replay that is their's to keep 

Traditionally, in the Catholic Church, the Oil of Catechumens is also known as the Oil of Exorcism. It is the oil used in some traditional Christian churches during baptism; it is believed to strengthen the one being baptised to turn away from evil, temptation and sin.
