The Glorification of Water

Ascension Day is the sacred feast of the risen Christ being lifted into glory.

On this day, we remember that creation is not abandoned. Matter is not discarded. The body is not left behind. In the Ascension, Christ rises with the fullness of embodied life, revealing that creation itself is capable of receiving and reflecting divine radiance.

This transmission is devoted to the Body of Water.

Water has a body.

It moves as a river, a spring, a well, rain, a sea, a tear, a baptismal font, an underground stream, a mist, a cloud, and a living current beneath the land. It carries memory. It receives prayer. It holds grief. It blesses, cleanses, nourishes, mirrors, and remembers.

From the first waters of Genesis, over which the Spirit moved, to the Jordan that received Christ, to the Living Water He promised, to the blood and water flowing from His pierced side, water has been present as witness, vessel, threshold, and sacrament.

On Ascension Day, we turn toward the Body of Water with reverence.

On Ascension Day, we will contemplate the waters of the Earth, inviting you to deepen your trust in creation's sacred flow and feel a sense of reverence for the life-giving waters that sustain us all.

Through prayer, sacred teaching, contemplative listening, and blessing, we will invite the Body of Water to be released from heaviness, fear, grief, distortion, and misuse, and restored to its original vocation as a vessel of life, mercy, remembrance, clarity, and peace.

As Christ ascends, the Body of Water reflects His glory.

This is a transmission for those who feel called to pray with the waters, bless the waters, listen to the waters, and enter a deeper covenant with creation through the mystery of the Ascended Christ.

May every spring remember the blessing.

May every river remember praise.

May every well remember mercy.

May every hidden water become clear in His light.

May the Body of Water reflect His glory.
