Dearest Friends,
"I'm lost without YOU"
Today's sermon is something you can listen to and keep should you ever reach rock bottom. It's a companion for when you realise that life gets messy when you are in charge. And the only way is to belong to God. To hand over your life and pray for his/her complete guidance for however long you have left.
Dearest Friends, today, we walk with Jesus when He meets a demon on the path. Following a Gnostic Teaching, and Oral Tradition we will walk as Jospeh of Arimathea and witness He From Beyond The Stars extending His hand to the Demon, offering to take him home. There is a GREAT and timely lesson in this wonderful and touching story...
As the world heads toward an almighty catastrophe, the earth is and will eventually be, as it has always been. Should everything we once knew disappear, all that shall be left is the earth, and perhaps a handful of us will remain. I can imagine, at that time, we shall be meek, and able at last, to see the Earth for what she truly is, as we inherit Her.
Do we feel worthy to accept this?
The meek does not represent those with a particular personality type of reticence, nor is this speaking of a weakness. In fact, the paradoxical power of this passage is that meekness is equated with strength — the strength of the Lord's work in the one who comes to God in total trust and complete surrender.
Anointing of the Sick is a sacrament of healing. Anointing of the Sick was once known as "extreme unction." The idea behind this sacrament is that we are all members of the body of Christ. When one of us suffers, all of us suffer, and all of God's creation suffers with us.
Through the sacrament of Anointing, Christ strengthens the faithful who are afflicted by illness, providing them with the strongest means of support. This Sermon is for all those who are sick and suffering and wish to receive the Anointing of the Sick sacrament and the reminder that Christ is with them in their suffering.
It has always been second nature for me to turn to 'the Son', as I first discovered him outside of religion, where I was free to explore, who, what and where he really is. My prayers, usually begin, "Beloved Christ", and I know inwardly, I am referring both to a man, Jesus, and the great holy presence, the Christ. Which came over him, and shaped the duration of his earthly life, and now stands, as an Aeon, emanating to all who cry out.
There has been some tugging at my sleeve today, saying..."Speak of Me"... This 'Me', is the Father.
It has always been second nature for me to turn to 'the Father', as my Dad, was and is, the most wonderful and loving example of fathering. My prayers, usually begin, "Beloved Father", and I know, I am referring to them both, as one. But it's not like that for so many.
And this offering, is my contribution of laying down a sacred paving slab back to Our Father. May this sermon knock you off your feet, as You are strong enough to let Him in. And it will be glorious!
If we are truly blessed to recognise one another at any point in our evolution, it is because we have already seen, and thereby carry and cherish the image of the other in the depth of our being. The image may be blurred, surrounded by grief, or painfully locked away - but it is there.
Have you ever been fully convinced that the person before you is Jesus Christ? Not a dream, imagination, or vision, but a person? I have - three times to tell you the truth. AND one of them was a woman! So I know how it feels to TRULY believe you are beholding the Son of God. So perhaps, you could say I am open to that... but the more important question is - are you?
You might ask, didn't it disappoint me when I realised that person wasn't Jesus Christ? No, not one bit because - it that moment (S)HE was.
And no one can tell me otherwise. And so in this Spirit, I will speak the sermon.
You are gathered here today not to listen to a speech, a presentation, or to enjoy a performance; you are invited here today to receive a Sermon, the divine grace of bringing Light through the Living Word. These Seven Sermons will be delivered by the voice of the Feminine, the same voice veiled for 2,000 years. Every age has its trial, and ours is upon us...
These sermons are for exhortation, strongly encouraging us to push forward on moral issues. To reach for the extra mile and to firmly root ourselves in Good.
